Welcome to Amelia coal mines Blog's. This coal mine is situated at small village of Singrauli district Madhya pradesh that is piderwah. This coal mine is the merger of govt and private comany name as Aditya birla group's and THDC india limited which extract the coal from the mines and export to the Khurja Super Thermal Power Plant for powering the 1320 mw thermal power plant. This mine's life is 28 year's. This mines is located approx. 26 km from the Waidhan city of Singrauli district. The route to this mine's is single lane and goes from a forest area as per some news it shows that significant portions of reserve forests in the area have been, or are proposed to be, diverted for coal mining. This project cost $199.57 million.
